The 2C Solar Light Cap provides lighting for the wearer whenever they need it, because its lighting system is integrated into the cap that is worn on the head. This is an old argument against solar power, that the power used to create a solar cell is more than the power it will ever create. However, in the case of the 2C Solar Light Cap, we have selected one of the most efficient manufacturing methods - a roll-to-roll process that dramatically reduces power usage during its creation.

Furthermore, we have estimated all the energy needed to manufacture and transport the entire product including the nuclear or coal fueled electricity in the factories and the petrol used to transport our shipments. We calculate, that by turning off your home lighting while you read our instruction manual ( and using the 2C SLC to read it of course !) , you will have recovered the cost of the manufactured carbon usage.
